Hi I'm sitting here with my dash totally apart and I don't know what wire goes to what speaker from the factory radio. I'm trying to hook up a line out converter but I don't know which factory wire to run to which converter port. Someone please help me!

Do you have the Bose or Base head unit?

I checked nissan manuals out but the colors didnt match like they said they would. I would use trial and error! Dont install the speakers yet...just plug two wires to each one until you find the right one. There will normally be a blue and blue/black, purple and purple/black..and so on. Those will be each positive and negative.

well from my understanding i need to cut the factory wires coming out of the head unit and put them into the LOC, so if anyone could tell me what color from the HU goes to what speaker, that would be really helpful instead of having to cut each one individually. Thanks.

I remember the yellow aftermarket goes with Nissan yellow. The black wire will be the ground. The other ones I cant remember off the top of my head. I would trim all of the wires back until you have metal. Then just touch each aftermarket pair to Nissans pair. Its not as bad as it sounds. Only took me a few minutes. Plus, you can test your speakers to make sure they work ok before installing them.

At the bottom of the page are pictures of the three plugs. I believe you need to wire one speaker to pins 13 & 14 and the other speaker to pins 15 & 16.

I have the Bose System which is similiar, and don't feel bad, it took me a while to figure it out too.

Okay so 13 14 15 and 16 are the rear speakers, now there should be 4 more for the front speakers, 2 for each. Anyone know which ones they are?

use an ohm meter, to check for loads, then you know you have the speaker. then pop it with a 9v to see which one you have, or the easiest way is to buy a harness that is labeled plug it in find your wires and take it back.

http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/dash_removal/

If you scroll down to step 15, you can see all the individual wires. Which 8 are the speaker wires? Thanks.
