Using PAC AAI-NIS to connect Sirius Receiver...
(I apologize if this has been covered before...I tries a search but didnt come up with what I was looking for )
Here's my situation...I am trying to get Sirius installed in my new Roadster. It is the touring model, and came with the Bose stereo, which I understand has a Sat input (it has the "Radio" button. To make a long story short, I tried to get it installed at a local car audio place. I knew that I needed an "adapter" of some sort to be able to plug the sat receiver into the Bose directly, but didnt know at the time what I needed. Well, they thought they knew what they were doing till they tore the radio out. Turned out they didnt know what to do with it and had no such adapter.
Well, I've since done more research and found I needed the PAC Audio AAI-NIS, which I have now ordered. I have one question based on something I was told at the car audio place. They said that the back of the Bose unit had 4 inputs in the back, and all four had something pluged into them, so they were at a loss to where an adapter would plug in. Customers couldnt go "in the back" so I never got to see what they were talking about.
SOOOO...my question is...can someone confirm that this is the case, and if so, what gets unplugged to plug in the adapter? Does someone happen to have a pic of this? I honestly dont know a great deal about car audio wiring, but I want to have a better understanding of what I need to ask for before I go somewhere else to have it installed!
Also...this is the unit that I am looking at: Sirius Starbase

Yes, it is the case... all 4 are plugged if your radio is pre-wired for sat radio.
There are 2 harnesses on the PAC-NIS. 1 of the harnesses is a pass through. The other one you need to replace one of the other harnesses (I forget which on I replaced...)
*edit* Here's the thread where they helped me out. https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....85#post1474585

What is SJGreatDeals.com?
(at least that is the cheapest non-ebay that I found.)

Just to follow up...I got the PAC AAI-NIS, took it to Circuit City and purchased the Sirius Starbase, and had them install it.
The install was done quite nicely and the sound quality is awesome! Thanks again for the help!
