Default subwoofer bracket and cover part numbers?

i was wondering if anyone knows what the specific part numbers are for these parts:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=28178-Z33SW

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=28163-Z3303

i wanted to pick them up from the nissan dealer, but they told me i needed the specific part number. go figure, i thought they would know better than i did.

also, if anyone has any feedback about putting a sub in that factory section vs. trunk, i'd appreciate it. i figured this would be the most space saving area since nissan had already put it there. anything i should know before trying to install these would be great too. much appreciated.

You'll want a "free air" subwoofer vice the more typical one designed for a seal box or ported one.

I think all Zs come with the Subwoofer bracket in place, if it has the sub, it gets the grill cover, if it dont, they just put a solid cover over it. You may not need the bracket at all.

In order to achieve quality sound you will need to build an enclosure for the subs. Do a search on this forum and you will find a schematic showing the dimensions you need. Purchase some MDF board and cut to size, OR you can order a fiberglass enclosure from www.wickedcas.com which is made specifically for our Z. Dynamat is an added plus if done correctly.

I had to contact my dealer to check on the progress of Z's maintenance so I took the liberty of asking them the stock part number you were requesting. they told me the part number is 28178-CD001 (grey) & 28178-CD000 (charcoal). Hope this helps. I recommend you take a look at my previous post for additionla info.
