naz, looks like ill be ordering these AND the sub magic box from you, haha. what amp do you recommend to use if im putting in Focal 165K2p's?

I placed an order online for these a few days ago. Not sure if all is ok though as they have not returned my call or emails.

 

I'm pretty sure that Nazar is out at SEMA (Las Vegas) for a couple of days based on this thread.. No need to worry as he has been on this board for over 3 years and has an excellent reputation.

How do these work with the Frost Interior? Are they available in another vinyl-wrapped color to match that interior panel? If not, is that silver-painted color an available option? I'm thinking about putting a pair of Infinity KAPPA PERFECT6.1's in there vs the JL XR650CSi's or the Focal 165K2P's ... Might run them off that Phoenix Gold XS6600 that Tackett mentioned earlier in the thread -- if I can figure out how I can get the ohm ratings to match up ...

Also, Nazar, do you have a 'Magic Box' for the stock sub enclosure for something like a JL Audio 10w3 ? If not, does the corner 'Magic Box' work for the Roadster 'Trunk' ?

not to worry guys, i talked to James (his name started with a J i think) as he was vinyling the pods, I got the last one at the last second unvinyled, i might have to mold a tweet on mine, depending on the dynaudio's imaging. they should be in the mail by monday, never fear. damn i was going to leave this car alone but seeing as how the speaker issue has been fixed with a great pod.

in case anyone wants better speakers using these pods but doesnt want to change out the head unit. well you can use the jl audio cleansweep. i used it in my bmw with all jl audio speakers and 10w7 sub and it works amazingly without changing the HU.

just a thought for those that want the sound but want the stock look.

did someone get two driver's side door pods? I got two passenger side door pods, and justin said he'd send me a driver's side door pod but i figure someone else has two driver's door ones, maybe we could trade?

I am a newbie when it comes to stereo, i just spent $3.5k on stereo and the system sounds like stock but louder and alot more bass I have the JL XRs upfront behind the door speakers, and was wonerding if getting these speaker pods will improve the sound alot and also give it more mid bass? i am pushing them with a JL 300/4 right now, JL 500/1 to Stealth box.. any comments welcome, thanks
