Do they, or anyone know if they will ever make a product for the Z like the Dension Icelink popular in VW, Audi, BMW, and Honda's ( http://www.dension.com/icelink_info.htm ). It would be very very nice. I say we request it from Dension themselves. Now thats an idea.

 

Just got my Z last Saturday ('05 CS Touring 5AT Black Leather). Driving off the lot, one of my first thoughts was how to hook up my iPod. I called Dension yesterday. The customer service rep says they are working on a product for the Z (or Nissan as a whole?). If so, I'm willing to wait instead of getting the AAI-NIS aux input. For the time being, I'm just going to go with the Belkin tape adapter w/ my Belkin power cable as a temp solution until the IceLink comes out. I've heard nothing but good things about IceLink, especially the option to take total control of your iPod instead of being stuck with preselected playlists like a lot of other brands. I hope the Dension rep wasn't just blowing smoke.

 

Yea i hear you smilez...my buddy got it for his gti and i was very impressed. I just ordered that stupid AAI-NIS yesterday for 80 bucks off ebay. I guess its just the temp solution. I'll be waiting for that icelink though. BTW congrats on the car. I too got mine a week and a half ago.
