service engine light on?

service engine light on?
Just put my alpine radio in hooked up the batt. and the service engine light is on. Anyone have a clue? Thanks

you have to leave the battery unplugged for a while

I did and it went out but came back on after i went to go out later that night. i will try it again.

I had same issue after I install amp/speakers and it went away about 1-2 weeks later.

Same Problem
Nick, light went out, how did you fix it, or did it do it automatically.
