Had mine replaced under warranty for the same problem (while employed by a Nissan dealership in KY last summer)......replacement (refurb) unit started the same thing after a few days in cold weather. Now live on Gulf Coast and only gets cold enough to skip once in a while.

Just gonna finally upgrade to a new system soon.........

 

I went thru 3 of those piece of sh*t non CD playing piece of defication Blose. I finally gave up and put in a Alpine 9860, which so far I love. Plays my DVD"s MPE's Have my Ipod hooked up with over 1000 songs at my immediant disposal. My Dealer changed out the Blose H.U. everytime at N/C. But it changes nothing. That stock OEM is 100 % pure Crap!

 

Mine did the same thing. I took it to the dealer and had it replaced. Bose sucks.

 

I have an 06 touring and it was cold here in South FLA in the 40's last week and I noticed it too. Seems to be a common problem.

 

Can't speak to the radio, but the 6CD changer is a Clarion. Before going Eclipse checked with Clarion Dealer here in Albuquerque on replacing. He wouldn't touch it or recommend replacing Clarion 6CD player with another Clarion 6CD player. Just tooooo many things happening in such a small unit.

 

Yup, every morning I get to enjoy the radio cause my 03 Touring doesn't like to play cd's, btw I took it in today and it's getting replaced... On a side note my door motors for the windows also crapped out, I guess they dont like the cold either... everytime I closed the door it sounds like a dog growling at me...

Hey man, I have an 03 touring and went through three cd players. I finaly said this Blose has got to go. I got rid of that Blose and now have an Alpine.
It's so much better. I also changed out the front speakers.

Last weekend I finally got rid of the Blose. Replaced it with an Alpine HU,Polk components in the doors and a MTX 10" sub in the stock location. 1 amp in the storage compartment and 1 in the sub compartment. I know its not as fancy as a lot of the systems i've seen here but it sounds 1000 % better than the Blose and it only cost approx. $400.00 so I'm very satisfied.

 

I have an 04 Tour same prob...cold=skip, sucks, but after reading this forum...getting it replaced for same HU, would be like , so I will suffer till I modify sys some day!
