How do you like that Kenwood head unit? I was looking at either doing that or getting a LCD screen in the nav spot and getting the alpine dvd player. However it doesn't seem that i will get the dolby 5.1 encoding with that setup or get the TV tuner that i would get with the Kenwood flip up kvt 911.

Bottom line do you like the layout and how it handles the sound?

i dont think the dolby encoding means much unless you have a center channel speaker..but i might put a kenwood center channel in the factory nav spot. ya you need a tv tuner and touchscreen with gps

 

Are you plannin on getting a navigation system hooked up to the kenwood? If so which one would work with that touchscreen?

 

the kenwood navigation is touchscreen and 3d with audio

 

what does that run $$$ are you plannin on adding it to your setup?

 

ya ill be pickin it up in a couple weeks. its around 2 grand, it might be 1600 on ebay
