Where did you ground your amp?
Just installed 2 JL Audio amps in the cubby behind driver. Got them grounded, but still getting noise that I attribute to ground. Where exactly have you grounded your amp?

In that space there is a hole next to the seatbelt retractor thingy. I sanded down the area around that hole and found a self-tapping screw that was slightly bigger than the hole. In addition I screwed in another screw that clamps down on the top of the grounding tab. So I have a screw going thru the middle of the grounding tab and another screw on the side that holds it in place as well.
I don't have any grounding problems but I do need to put in a noise filter.

Nice setup and selection of amps/sub/and HU Soccertoad. I have had luck grounding to a few points in the cubby, including the metal bracket that hangs down, and one of the holes left over after removing the stock Sub bracket that covered the cubby area. Just make sure you grind th earea down a bit with a dremel and use a self locking washer/nut combo like described above..
I recently replaced an Excelon X879 in my car and did have noise issues at one point. If your using an Amer Int Dash kit and have screws holding the HU in place, try taking them out..they may be scraping against the metal brackets within the dash area..also try using Twisteed pair instead of shielded RCA.
I also don't get the grounded but noise filter thingy???

If you have the time and money e-mail this company and spend some money on some information. Filters are a last resort. Try and google other sites too for tracking down noises. Good luck!
