Default Space conserving system

Hey, i just bought a new base model 350z. I play golf in college, and I need the room in the back for golf clubs. Are there any good setups that conserve space that you know of, and if so, can you give me some details? Thanks

Different folks have done different things. The following is a list with one being Golf and space is most important and five being sound is most important.
1) Get a Infinity Base Link (amp and sub) and put it behind the driver.
2) Use the space behind the driver for the sub and the glove box for an amp.
3) Go with no spare, cary a can of fix-a-flat and use the spare space for amps and subs.
4) Get a box that only uses the space in front of the strut bar and tell your friends they will need to drive if they want to bring their clubs.
5) Give up the game and take up car modding as a hobby, it will cost about the same and wont require keeping score. Then do whatever you want

Others may have other suggestions

I golf and the tirewell sub works well for me. With an strut box you're going to lose about 2 cft of space. A box in front of the strut will lose you slightly less than that. A sub flush with the carpet and 2" speaker grill will only lose you .1 cft.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about

3.5) Box that sit directly under the strut bar and does not stick out of either side. You could still load two sets of clubs in the trunk with that in there but that would be all.
Something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...spagenameZWDVW
or

By the way this is what a spare tire box might look like

But with the spare tire box, I would still run into problems because the golf clubs would be resting on top of the sub. Or could I cover the sub somehow?

The spare tire enclosures above sitck out quite a bit and are good for subs with deep magnet driver size. However, if you buy the right sub you can make it sit flush with the floor. When you need to carry clubs simply put a barrier over the sub. I use a steel grill that projects 2" un from the floor..still enough room to carry clubs when you rest them on top of the heavy duty grill.

if you want the MOST room possible, do what i did.

Remove the spare tire, tools, AND the foam blocks on BOTH sides. youll be amazed how much room is gained. you can put the audio equip where others have said, not have to mod anything AND have more room to boot! (several pair) hehe

with that set up i was able to put the following in for a camp trip...

Full size cooler (full)
inflatable 3 person raft/ w oars,
2 large sleeping bags.
2 person dome tent.
2 sleeping pads.
bags of dry food.
10" sub in its own small box
misc smaller items.
clothing for 2
1 passenger (in-front) heh
and some small kindling wood
