Default 06 Basslink Install

Well, today I took off from work started to put some of my new parts on. I have the Infinity Basslink all out and ready to put in. I pop off the cover behind the drivers seat and find this...............

So who wants to by a new Infinity Basslink for cheap ?? Also what is a good open air sub that I can mount in that spot??

I wonder why they put that panel in a non-bose model? I wonder if all the 06 base & enthusiest models have this piece...that would be awesome if they do!! Can anyone else verify this on their 06's?

I think all enthusiasts have that panel, at least mine did...just take it out...whats the big deal?

and dont go for free air..invest in a custom made box

^You just leave it like that?

BTW, I have that metal piece in my '05 Track. I believe all have the piece, just not all have the Bose sub.

Take off the plastic to get to the bolts that hold the bracket in place. Then take of the metal bracket and install.

I had to do that for my 03. You will also have to get dremmel out 2 L brackets in the inside after you get this done. Or at least I had to. (That was the hardest part I found.)

Wasn't 2 bad and I am sure you can find a how 2 install of this if you do a search.

I have a base model, I installed basslink in that cubby, had to remove the bracket. I put it back on afterwards. I couldnt be happier with the results, install takes alot but it is worth it. good (not great) clean bass without losing trunk space.
