Default Need some recommendations for audio system....

I'm looking to put together a simple system to upgrade from the stock
non-Bose unit. If any can chime-in with some recommendations that would fit my needs would be appreciated. Here is what I have planned :

- Kenwood DDX8017 double-din H/U (already have)
- Focal 165V1 6.5" components to fill fronts (or other recommendations)
- 1 JL Audio 10w7 sub (any other recommendations)
- Amp - what would you recommend to power my above setup? Mono amp for sub and 2ch amp for front spkrs? OR multi-channel amp for speakers and subs?

I don't want to spend a whole lot on the system. Doesn't have to be the loudest or have the best sound setup, just a system that's clean and bumps The amp(s) and sub will be mounted flush in the trunk area.

The front Focal components and JL Audio sub I listed are just some stuff that I found, so it's not like I'm sold on those. I'm open to any and all recommendations.

my brother went with that exact same setup except with a focal sub a 10w7 would be too much probally. as far as amps he went with a JL 450/4 and 300/2 to power it all. it sounds great and is excellent quality. that tv is a good choice to its really nice.

Thanks for the input...

I was even thinking about going with a 250/1 with a matching power output sub and a 300/2 for the front components. How does this sound? Is 250/1 too weak in terms of power output and bass for the sub? Again, I'm not looking to blow my doors off or have the best system. Just something that bumps and sounds clean (coming from the fact I'll be upgrading from non-stock Bose unit that I've been dealing with

if u have that amp there no point in getting somethin as powerful as a 10w7 cause u wont be able to notice a big difference at that power level. if u get another less powerful 10" sub then that amp would probally be sufficiant IMO but im not an expert.
