Default Installing Sounds

Hi all. I'm installing new sounds in my Z. I'm replacing the stock speakers at both door panels. How do i remove the panel without damaging the door.

thanks.

Each door comes off a bit different.

On the passenger's side you need to pull the aluminum trim panel from where the passenger's hand grips to open the door. There are a couple 10 mm bolts under there. Pull the handle off. Next grab the bottom of the door and pull outwards to pop off the grips. When you get everything loose lift the skin up and off the top edge. You can disconnect the power window, and mechanical cables for the lock and the door release.

On the driver's door you lift up on the plastic that mounts the window switch/door lock. Disconnect the power cables to the switch. Now there's a couple more 10 mm bolts to unscrew. Pull the panel off like the passenger's now - bottom, and mechanical cables.

Done from memory ... I think it's right.
