Remove the battery cover. Then remove the plastic mounting that the battery cover attaches to. Pick up the corner of the plastic hood trim behind the battery, and look just to the left and back behind the battery. A main wire cluster enters the cab at this location, with a rubber cover. Feed your wire through the rubber cover by poking a small hole in the rubber, and pull through. It'll take some time, but once finished allows for a really clean routing. Then go wherever you need to.
Stay on the passenger side if possible. All of the car signal wires and stuff are routed through the driver's side. If you have to go through to the back of the car, use the wire holders already in the passenger side. Good luck!
