Default Please help! Alpine 7894

Does anybody know where I can get an electrical and mounting kit for Alpine 7894? I have a non-Blose system in my Enthusiast and I know that there are people out there that have installed some alpine HUs. thanks a bunch.

There was a thread a while back where someone had installed an Alpine HU and used an aftermarket wiring harness that snapped together with the factory harness....no soldering inviolved. I'm interested in this harness/kit as well.

Drive down to your local Circuit City and tell them you need the two harnesses to install an Alpine unit into you Z. They will provide you with a harness that plugs into the factory plug and converts it to a generic plug. Then they will also give you a plug that will plug into the generic plug from the previous harness and then directly into the Alpine unit. You do not have to cut or splice any wires. Well worth it! It made the install a snap...no pun intended!

If you need the exactly harness model #'s just let me know, I think I saved the bags they came in.

Wiring Harnesses for simple install of Alpine units.

Metra wire harness #80-7550 (Nissan to Universal)
Metra wire harness #AL2X8-80 (Universal to Alpine)

I purchased these at Circuit City.

I think they were around $10 each, but I could be wrong that was awhile back.
