Default rear speaker making "pop" noise

Guys,

My rear driver side speaker is making a “pop/blow” noise once in a while. After it happens, the amp makes a clicking noise (to shut off and goes back on)

Any idea where I might start to troubleshot. A loose cable or bad speaker? It’s a pain to remove all the panels in the rear out.

Btw, the speaker is Diamond Audio and the amp is a Phoenix Gold.

if you had a short in that speaker wire somewhere, that may happen. the pop is the short acting up, which overloads the amp and shuts it off. I had a similar incident in my home system. Turns out I had one little thread of the negative wire touching the positive wire and was overloading the amp every 2 minutes or so.

Diamond Audio Coax?

For some unknown reason Nissan thought it would be smart to make the seat retract so far back that it has the ability to crush the speaker. I found that out the hard way as I noticed a buzzing noise in my driver's side speaker ... the seat back had snapped the tweeter out of the center of the midrange and it was hanging loose by the wires.

I also get the "pop" from the rear speaker, it was so all in a sudden and it sometimes scared my passengers as they dunno whats going on with it, it really sounded like someone really hit ur car from behind.
