Rubber Pad for Double DIN??
I recently had a single din Kenwood HU installed w/ Metra kit and now I have the little black plastic storage pocket below the single din receiver. When I put my remote or cell phone in the storage pocket they slide all around. I'm wondering where I can order a piece of rubber like material to line that pocket with. Sort of like the material on the base of our cubby in the dash. Thinking one side should have an adhesive to it that I can stick to the black plastic. Any ideas on where to find something like this, anyone have something they can suggest??
they sell little pads at walmart that you can slap on the dash to hold cell phones and stuff.. not sure how they work, but i guess cell phones and stuff will just stick to it, but its not sticky... check out the automotive section at walmart.. theyre like 4 bucks, should fit right in the little pocket

I have searched online at home depot and lowes and come up w/ nothing. I found this randomly searching: http://ellison.com/shop/?p=product_detail&itemnum=17020
I would like to find something like this but have no clue where to pick something like this up, I guess if I can't find it, I can order online from the site above but I would like to find something locally rather than spend $18 + shipping.

I bought one of the pads that clayton was talking about at Best Buy. It is black, so you can't really see it. I think it cost me about 8 bucks, and it does a pretty good job at keeping things from sliding around. I used it in the cubby, under my single DIN unit, and also on my dash for a radar detector.

Sears sells pads that go inside tool cabinet drawers to prevent the tools from sliding around. Lowes sells the same stuff too by the roll. It's sort of like that foam stuff that goes under throw rugs but black.

I made one a while back from neoprene rubber I got as OSH (I have not seen this stuff at Home Depot). I used a piece of paper to make a template, just kept trimming it until it the paper fit right, then traced it onto the rubber and cut it out with scissors.
Things still slide some but not as much as before and when they do move around they don't make noise any more.
