Hey everyone, I was lurking on these forums as well as the other large 350z site forums for this very reason. Then I spotted this post:

http://www.*********.com/forums/2006...it-t18209.html

(You'll have to edit the ******** part correctly if you know what I mean

If this information is correct it seems that Metra has finally made the 2006 350Z dash kit (Part #95-7602) and it should be available very soon

Just thought I'd pass along the information.....looks like it's about to be IVA-W200 time.

The post on the other site refers to a double DIN kit only.

Can anyone find out if Metra are making both types?

I'm waiting for a single DIN kit, myself and so are others.

Typically Metra has made a kit that converts a double-din opening to a single din with a storage pocket below. My question is... can the lower pocket be removed if the person wants to use the lower section for something else??

Here's a pic of kit for 2003-2005 from eBay..

the 03-05 metra kit that I purchased came with both double din and single din applications. for the double din you have to remove a piece of plastic though.

It is possible that their website isn't updated yet. As far as I know, they should be available in 2-3 weeks. You need to purchase through an installer or car audio store.

Default Same part Number

I was Checking the Manual..

http://www.metraonline.com/_assets/m...NST99-7602.pdf

It seen like the same part number will be use for Dual or Single DIN units. Page 5 stated about Double DIN INstallation.

This is great I was waiting on it to start ordering my parts.

just finished talking to Eric over at Metra's tech support, and he said 3 more weeks for the release of kit # 95-7602 double din--he said the whole world is waiting for the kits, so is just a matter of packaging and sending to authorized dealers first....that's the news as of 5:05 pm today...good news

I'm a Metra dealer.....I'll try to backorder a bunch this week in hopes to get them asap when there available. They probably won't let me but I'll try.
