It seen like the same part number will be use for Dual or Single DIN units. Page 5 stated about Double DIN INstallation.

This is great I was waiting on it to start ordering my parts.
Did anyone check the manual out? does the 99-7602 really work for dual Din stereos, or I have to wait for the other part number "95-7602"??

I tried to call them, they told that the 99-7602 will work with a Dual Din stereo, i just need to remove the Divition part. however it seen like they will have another part comming soon (Posibly the 95-7602, but he dind't have an idea).

Any installer out there can confim this? can i use this part to install a AVIC-Z! or a i need to wait for the 95-7602 to come out.???

FYI: 95-7602 is not listed at the web site.

99-7602 is all you need, it will do double DIN or single DIN.

Matt
Quote is an Email from Matt at Metra Electronics.

It seen like the only part number for Single or Dual DIN will be 99-7602. which is avaliable already in some places.

Metra told me this kit (2006 350z kit) is very similiar to the 03-05 kit which mounts a single deck and has a pocket below. The kit will also convert for 2 decks or a double din deck. This is very common for Metra.......one kit for many different types of application.

I will post a picture of the kit Monday afternoon as soon as the shipment gets here.

thanks mike

mlg9770 (Mike),

I'm assuming the wire harness is for adapting an aftermarket HU to the Nissan stereo system pre-wired harness.

If so, I''ll pm you with my order info.

Thanks!

Yes, you wire this to an aftermarket HU and then plug it into the factory harness.

I know there's a couple threads on this but I believe you have to connect the blue wires together so the factory antenna booster turns on.......if its not done correctly you wont have any radio reception. Its been awhile since I've done an install on a 350z so I cant quite remember the specifics but I think its the blue wires.

thanks mike
