I love the Avic-Z1, I am assuming you did the install yourself? Did you get the Bluetooth hookup and Satellite?? How does the navigation work for you????
(BTW, I saw your name on your keychain)

No i didnt get the bluetooth hook up, cause I dont have bluetooth phone yet. And as for as the satellite, Im guessing your talking about xm nav traffic right. Well I didnt get that either cause it doesnt work in my small city. That only works in big city. But Im thing about getting sirus for it.
And the Nav works great, I love it. I think the voice control thing is so good. It works like a charm. Like addresses in your address book you can put how the word should be pronounce so it wont have any problem picking it up when you say it.

Yeah theres a lot of people that say the Z1 is horrible with the nav... but you said it has no problem in a small town even. Do you notice any missing streets?
what kind of component speakers did you install? do you notice a big difference?
also, I like that shift **** what is that? I could not get mine to come off!

Got everything installed on my 06 with a custom dash kit that looks better than any regular dash kit. Very exciting. I'll have pics up either tonight or tomorrow...
Equipment - Kenwood DDX-6019 with NAV, ID 10" subwoofer, Kicker ZX300.1 amplifier
Sounds fantastic - I didn't know one 10" ID subwoofer can hit so hard

And I dont really see any problem with the nav. Sometime it give me different routes that I wont normally take to get to where im going (faster my way), but the nav would give me, cause I guess it want to stick to main and bigger roads. which is smart I guess. Over all so far no problem, I need to go to a bigger city like houston to test it out more.
And for the speaker question I got polk MOMO Components all around. For the bang for the bucks, they are really good. I still havnt mess with my amp that it is hook up to and they are still pretty loud. Amp is still on stock setting. But the bad thing is no bass, all mid and highs. Well that what I wanted anyway cause Im getting subs anyway.
This is what I install in my car all in 8 hours.

The shift **** is a momo shift **** for a automatic. But Im sure you can put it on a stardard if you want. You cant even tell that it is a botton on top. Here is a better pic.

If you have a auto shift **** all you have to do is pop that small gray plastic piece down, then push that pin out, and up comes the ****.
Hope that answer all your question.

I'm running the factory Clarion HU right now thru an Audio Control LC6 and it sounds amazingly good. Go ahead and get all your other gear installed and just use the factory head until the kit is available. That's been my plan but I'm so pleased with how clean the factory head is that I might just keep it.

Yes, you can easily get those adapters. Google them or go to www.mp3car.com. I am at work right now or I would've posted the link; it's on my home PC.
