For those out there trying to find a 12v power source for aftermarket gauges (navigation/cubby area) and use the radio/stereo for power, I believe that the yellow wire is a constant 12v source and the light green wire is a switched 12v source. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Yellow is constant. Not sure a bout green but from what I remember, it was the red wire which is tied to ignition. This was the one I tapped into when hardwiring my gps.

Not to bring an old thread back... i'm trying to install one of those iSimple bluetooth inline FM modulators and I can confirm that YELLOW is a constanct 12V source and the LIGHT GREEN (TEAL is my eyes) is a switched 12V source.

The LIGHT GREEN/TEAL is what I'm using to switch the modulator on

This exact problem just happened to me on my 04 z, I've tried countless times to put the wires back where they need to be on the diagrams but my head unit still hasn't showed any signs of life. It doesn't help that whoever the last owner was butchered the wiring and created a rat's nest that is nearly impossible to track. I have a light green, green/ white, thick yellow, black/white, red/white, red/ yellow, red/blue, blue/red, and yellow/red wire. Just wondering if anyone knows which pin they go into or if these are even oem colors. Also it is not a nose system, they can be different. I've read the forums and they have been helpful in identifying what each wire is but I haven't seen anything on where they go. Cant confirm what I have is right, nothing turns on but I'll add attachments to show what I have done.

Any help would be appreciated :P

Okey so Ive looked through every forum and still don't understand the color coding of my speaker wires. They don't match the diagrams and don't match what people are saying.

I want to connect an amp to my stock headunit. I have an Aerpro line out converter because there are no RCA in/outputs so I have to cut and connect the speaker wires to the converter. All I need it the speaker wire colours

please.

There!

im posting this, so the next poor soul that accidentally depins their plug like I did. Doesn’t have to spend the next 4 hours searching in vain in the Internet, in the fsm, in images in threads from 20 years ago. Finally piecing together, enough info to put it back together from a picture in 2006 taken by a god damn potato, and a Bose diagram from a 2000 Nissan Maxima which was 50 percent WRONG. To finally get the correct solution which is the picture I posted in this post. This is what it’s supposed to look like if you have a 2003 Nissan 350z track. Jfc.

I created an account especially for this.
I have been searching for days and days on end, i am completely lost. You posted the picture of that connector which exactly matches mine, that connector is part of 3 white ones. I have a 2003 too and i really need a picture of the biggest connector from those 3, i cant find it anywhere and im completely lost. Could you please, out of the kindness of your heart take a picture of the biggest connector from those 3? I would be absolutely ecstatic if you could do that so i can get my radio working again!

Edit: i honestly am willing to paypal you something for the trouble, thats how bad i want it lol

I would suggest folks at least do their due diligence at labeling connectors as they take these pictures and compare them to what the FSM has it listed under. Many times with Bose iterations these colors might be different than others.
