Hey guys I just got a 04 Roadster with the Bose six disc in dash receiver and when the radio is playing it is fine but when you insert a CD and play that only the right speakers work? I tried to fade them to the left but nothing comes out? Any ideas what's causing it? I'm out of ideas. Thanks in advance!

 

I have an 03 "Tour" with Bose system. Many think the six disc in dash system is Bose, but it is actually made by Clarion. It sounds like something is wrong within the changer. If you take it to your dealer they are going to replace, because they can't repair.

While I never had your problem, I have had CDs get stuck and or skip. There is a lot going on inside the unit. Eventually after having four units go bad, changed HU with Eclipse AVX2494. WOW! While there are others that will do the same, this unit woke up the Bose speeaker system.

I assume you are still under warranty? I guess let your dealer replace until you have another problem, then decide.

 

I had your problem, it is a bad head unit. Hopefully you're under warranty and the dealer can do it for you. Even if you're out of warranty, if the dealer is kind he will get it goodwill'd.

nah nah nah.....i have a 2004 touring.....all you have to do is make a first....and smack the left side of the dash right next to the headunit!! hahahahah dont laugh it works!
