I have a pioneer hu... would it be better to get pioneer amps or something else?
Hey all. Yes def talked about many a times but I might as well ask.
Since I bought the Pioneer P80MP, would it be better for sound quality to get 2 Pioneer Amps? (1 4 channel for my speakers, and 1 for 2 subs?)
I am however plannin on getting Type-R subs in the back.
Also i know jack about Amps. All i know is that my speakers are 110W RMS and Max at 250. And my headunit produces 27RMS and rather 40W or 60W output (it has a feature where you can switch)
If I want to get an amp... what power should I get? Also should I then switch to 40W? or keep it at 60W?
Finally.. please dont tell me to get JL amps.... i dont have the kind of money for that.

there is abolustely no reason to stick to the same brand, many barnds make good stuff in one area, but not so great in another...by limiting to one brand, you are often not getting the best performance at any given price level
pioneer is a good example, good headunits, but for spekares and amps, there are better for the price, subs are decent, but again, better at similar pricing

Rear Concept Speakers same stats as front.

I am going to need to get a box, subs, and amps.
My budget (currently) is only 400 bucks. Yes i know its NOTHING thats why I prob wont get everything at once. I dont want crap, but I dont need top of the line stuff.

the more the bass the better..... also.... My car is already wired for ONE amp..... so would it be better just to get a 5 or 6 channel amp for all my speakers and 2 future subs
tahts wmy point, but with your price range, you wont get a super big 5 channel..
the dls amp would match up well for your car...
in real world appliations, it puts about 70 watts to four front spekars, and about 300 to the sub
