But not to sure about the nav finisher, and I don't beleive anyone has gotten the nav door working properly yet. I know evobunny is working on this i think...he has the 06 cubby, not too sure if he's gotten the door to operate yet.

I re skinned the 03 cubby with my 04.5 door.
The doors are the same size and shape but the back of the door is different enough to cause problems for people not used to winging it.
For the lower part, I took the back frame off, cut it across the center so I could use the lower half with the latch.
For the top I used a small strip of steel that I bent and riveted to the metal part of the lid door. This attached to the spring that pulls the door up. This part was probably the most difficult. It has to be aligned perfectly or it will pull on the door at an angle and cause it not to go up.
Here are the pics I took when I did it a while back. The ugly plastic melting is how I got the lid reattached to the metal frame.

You do have to remove the plastic frame from around the screen, a little fiddleling with it in the cubbyand that's it, the cubby still intact in the back. The rubber mat just have to be cut, so what you see in the pic is just the front piece, a hole in the back for the rca video and power wires and that's it. The door still closes, I secured the monitor with a small plate under the cubby so if won't fall down. It looks perfect. and better yet no $ was spent

the screen is a farenheit, and yes is just a slit about 1/2" wide, the screen sits on the hinges (on top), also you need to dremel the inner upper cover edge so when you close it doesn't hit the top of the screen.
