how do I shut off the door on the oem nav?

how do I shut off the door on the oem nav?
My oem nav door keeps getting stuck and i just want to keep it open. . I have a 04.5. ANy suggestions on how to do this? Thanks

my navi door stays open unless i want to close it...... i dont know how urs only stays closed and wont open.... im guessin u lost a spring?

welcome to nav door problem. I had the same issue. So feed up with it, i brought to the dealer, ask them to cut off the circut. Now, it's open 24/7.
