Default Tire Pressure Light Blinking!!!

Hey guys, I got my Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5 alarm w/ push start installed this past weekend and I noticed on the way home that my tire pressure light was blinking, scared me cuz i thought it was the check engine at first but looked in the manual and figure it was the air pressure. Anyways I checked all tires and there were no leaks or anything. Took it to the dealer today and they said it might be because of my alarm and its not under warranty. The car is an 06 Z with only 2800 miles...does anyone know what maybe the cause of this problem? I hate knowing that its brand new and that already somethings going wrong. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!!

The key word is MIGHT. If they cannot prove it was caused by the alarm they must warranty it. There is a Federal Law on this.

My hunch is the alarm is back driving your BCM/etc.
Ask the rookie Alarm installer if they used double diode
protection to prevent this? If not, (most Installers don't)
make them add them. The car may not be fried... yet.
But without adding current safeties, it will probably act
the same way after the ~$1200 BCM replacement.

Hopefully you had it installed at a Big Box store with good insurance.
Nissan will not warranty damage a non-Nissan Certified
Installer does to the car. It worked fine before the alarm install...
The Alarm Installer needs to fix it, whatever the cost.
Be very selective who works on your car.

I have the same alarm on my 03. My cousin put it in (he's been installing car audio/alarms for 15 years). He put diodes on the hood pin, locks, and few other things if I'm not mistaken. This alarm is not for the average joe. With all the bells and whistles, you gotta know what you're doing. Especially on the Z. Take it back to the shop who put it in, explain the situation and mention the diodes to them. Maybe that will trigger a thought in that rookie's head.

Oh, I didn't realize you were in Houston. If the shop you went to doesn't fix it. PM me and I'll give you my cousin's number. He lives on the Northside. I'm sure he could fix it. He did mine about 2 weeks ago. He did my system as well.
