HELP w/new head unit

Default HELP w/new head unit

Ok guys, had my z for a month now and I was putting in my sony cd player out of my old car. Now I have installed a million cd players, but I swear to god I cant get the thing to turn on. Is there something about these cars that is different about the wires? I got the dash off easily and all that, just cant get the cd player to do a damn thing. hlep

check the factory ground... it tends to 'fall out' of the factor wiring harness. If need by ground the HU directly to frame via the metal bar back behind the HU

you were exactly right...i jsut grounded it to a bolt in the dash and abra cadabra....those screws were an absolute pain in the a$$ to get back in way back there though....i think i lost 3 in teh process
