I need HELP with my video system!!
Alright my 03' 350z does not have the factory navigation so there is just an empty cubby that looks really ugly, I need to install a screen right there but what will fit and still alow the sliding door to come over it? I dont need navigation, I do want cd/dvd/mp3 playback and also have a PS2 connected to it. Would it be best to just put a monitor in the upper space, and put a dvd/cd/mp3 player where the factory stereo is? Or should i keep the factory stereo and add a monitor/cd/dvd/mp3 all in one?
Also, where is the best place to put the PS2, i dont want it to look messy.
prices and websites PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

There ain't room for anything but a 7" video monitor in the navigation cubby hole - it's not very deep at all even with the back taken off, which you'll have to do to fit the 7" screen in there.

They're about $140.
I keep my PS2 next to my Xbox 360 under my HDTV in the living room. Doesn't look messy at all.
There are a number of DVD/CD/MP3 (and navigation) one and two DIN units available to fit there the factory stock unit is and run from say $700 to $3000 give or take a few hundred. Not going with navigation will let you stay on the cheaper side of that price range. You'll also want to swap out your speakers and amplifiers so budget another $1000 to $2000 for them too.
My whole budget was nearly $3500 for the navigation, two amplifiers, 7" monitor, camera, and eight speakers. Installation is expensive if you can't do the work yourself.
