each measurement should be each speaker to the drivers ear...right?

so basically you averaged the distance of the speaker and the tweeter...and came up with one measurement which took both into consideration?

Yes, normal you would measurement each speaker to the drivers ear, if each speaker is hooked up to sepperate channels. Like tweeter FL1 & FR1 and mids FL2 & FR2, and rears RL & RR.

But since like mine the tweeters and mid componates are connected to one channel, I averaged the distance of the speaker and the tweeter for the fronts

Just get a close estimae of the distance and then play with the settings. Your ears will tell you what sounds right.
