I was wondering how the S2K antennas fitted the 350z. Alot of people have them, do they stick out a little...aka does the diameter of the antenna match the diameter of the place where you screw it in or is there a big difference.

Reason I ask is I think I saw a Z with the S2K antenna and it seemed like it too wide for the base.


Any comments?

the base of 2k2 is a bit wider. However, Element will give you a FLUSh look.

 

element you say? i will have to check it out.... only reason i wont go perin is it costs alot more and shipping... i have a honda dealer 10 min from me so ill just pick it up =)

 

Yes. Element. Just stop by any local Honda dealer and pick it up.

 

The top of the antenna base measures 0.801"

The bottom of the antenna measures 0.838"

Or about 0.037 of an inch difference - a bit more half a dime's difference (a dime is 0.055" thick". I am liking that Perrin antenna's looks. Does it work?
