sorry nazar and 16psibrick but your prices are too steep.
sub is a 12" eclipse aluminum (8122) needs to be about 1-1.2 cubed after sub displacement, would like to do between strut bar and rear speaker panel similear to the one that zenclosures sells.
if you think you can do it for less hit me up.

not sure what you're looking at for prices, but I've built boxes in the past and this is what I would estimate for costs:
(2) 2'x4'x.75"MDO = $15
(1) 5-way binding post terminal = $8
5 feet of internal speaker cabling = $5
screws+glue = $8
carpetting = $20
I think you're looking at a minimum of $56 in costs alone.
Then you will be charged S&H. For something that big and heavy, get ready to pay another $50.
I'm not offering my services, but I'm just trying to put the prices in perspective for you.

wait did i quote you for something like this?
why not just buy the zen enclosure box? its alread really cheap anyway...if you still think the zen enclosure box is too expensive, then i would simply have to say this:
sorry 04silverzcoupe, but you are too cheap, when you think you can spend a fair amount of money for a good product hit me up

the old style aluminum series eclipse subs are highly regarded as a great woofer. these things are built like tanks.
what kind of sub are you running? let me guess.....jl. if nt jl then rf.
and if i could afford to have one again, i'd pick the eclipse titanium over almost any other sub out there. except i like to try new things and not hte same subs over and over

side note:nazar and 16psibrick, nthing persobal, im sure yall build awesome stuff. i just dont have the money for that right now. nor the desire to spend money like that anymore. i like doing things myself, its just hard sometimes for me to get motivated. but anyway, again nothing personal, wishyall the best
