Need Help: Eclipse Ipod Adapter For Avn5435
I just got an i-pod 60g for my birthday and I purchased the ipc-106 adapter from Eclipse (they said it was compatible with the 5435). anyway, instructions aren't clear---I connected the ipc-106 to the sirius tuner and didnot get any results. I am thinking I have to connect te ipc-106 directly to the 5435 and then connect Sirius to lan1 on te IPC-106. I will be getting a cd changer this week so i tink it goes into lan 2.
Is this right? I emailed Eclipse, sometimes it takes awhile to get back.
Also, I don't have windows XP, does anyone have a spare disc that I can use to download?

Yes I did! Eclipse is awesome for support--you get right thru. Any way, I ran it directly to the 5435, ten ran the sirius tuner to it--set the switces to A/A and boom--it works. You can connect a on/on toggle switch to run the ipod and sirius so I will attempt it this week. I wanted to make sure the ipod worked before I did all this!
i just called eclipse , and the tech guy said it would wrk with the 5435 but it would have to go in wither the SAT , or the cd changer plug i am curious to c what it would look like on the screen in either of these plugs?
either way i just ordered 1 from an ebay store, for like$105 NIB
so we will c
thanks randy

i just did the exact same thing as well...called eclipse and they helped me out.
you want to plug your ipod box directly to the deck w/ the cable plugged into LAN2 and then you want to run the other cable from LAN1 to the OUTPUT of the Sirius box. Then you want to switch those 2 tiny switches to AA and it should work for you.
