HELP PLEASE!! bought new speakers...need info on install

Default HELP PLEASE!! bought new speakers...need info on install

so i have been researching here and decided to upgrade my sound system a little at a time...i was going to start with speakers while i wait for my sub box to arrive taht i ordered...anyways so i went out and bought the Infinity 2 way component 6010 speakers ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-bHzSoAB...ipvs=T&g=52000 5th one down) and i need help installing them...how do i connect the wires to the box that they give me...do i need more wires to extend them to the box and where do i put the box, do i have to run wires to where i palce that like in my car??? help please and thank you

on the stock system...

one wire is run to the doors. In the doors the wire splits for the stock tweeter and the stock woofer.

Tap into the stock wiring just before the wire splits. That is your input wire for you passive cross over.

Wrap your crossover in some sort of plastic and use some velcro to secure the crossover to the door somewhere.

what kind of wire do i use to extend the tweeter wire to the passive crossover and also the speaker probably???

lamp cord...18 gauge wire will work fine... your speakers should have some wire
