New 350z, need help
Just got a 350z Enthusiast 2006, hatchback w/o Bose or Navigation.
(not in stock)
I have the factory stereo/speakers. The speakers are poor quality, the stereo has no mp3 support. What is the best workaround on that? Been struggling to get the Bose stereo upgrade, cannot find any place to get it.
As far as speakers go, this is what I found so far. What do you think?
Infinity Reference 6012si
(backseat)
$69.99

Infinity Kappa 52.7i
(front)
$89.24
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...ndition=new%2F
Infinity Reference 1011t
(tweeters)
$79.99

I would like to install the speakers myself. Is there a very simple step by step tutorial I can look at for this? First time, but speakers shouldn't be that hard.
Please note that I do have about 70% hearing loss, so speaker quality is important (I still do not care for a million watts

ok, dont go reference and kappa, you will def get a tone difference. i love infinity, sounds incredible. dont bother trying to put in the bose system, to much work, too much money and its just not worth it. i would do kappa components in the front, forget about running individual tweeters, and put kappa 6.5's in the back. the door panels are easy, but mounting the new tweeters will take some enginuity. good luck

The sound quality from the Ipod FM transmitters are terrible. It'd be pointless to buy that with nice new good speakers....b/c its going to sound like crap. Buy a hardwire kit with a new deck.

If you just want quality sound and you arent an audiophile, then just buy an aftermarket Head unit. I bought my Priemier DEH-P8MP and it wakes up the speakers. It sounds 10X better!
Oh yeah and anything that transmits via FM modulation for the IPOD is a definate WASTE OF MONEY. Try directly connecting your IPOD to your stereo/headunit.
