After a long wait, here it is, finally all done....
All Kenwood and Boston components. All Suede interior trim, and plexi lights up blue at night
The 30gig Ipod has it's dock flush mounted in the center console, so all u do is plug and play

Here are some smaller pics...

I'll get some better pics when i have a chance, these were quick shots.

I love the sub boxes. Someone could make a killing if they would make both sides for our cars.

I'm running all boston, the components front and rear are Boston Pro60s
I also have the image enhancing tweeters up front, the Boston Type-Ms to help raise the soundstage back up. The whole setup is crisp and clean. Still need to final tune it a little, but it's pretty much done.

Next is an upgrade to the Excellon head unit, and a rearview camera.

the sub boxes are custom fiberglass enclosures, and fit extremely well. Since these subs only need .5ft of cubic airspace, I doubt that boxes with simiar dimensions would work for the vast general market out there, and if you make them bigger, you ruin their purpose IMO

Kenwood and Boston, I highly recomend em!

The Pro60s have that bridge so that you can mount the tweeters directly in front of the mid driver. This is the best bet for sound clearity. BUT when you do that you drop the soundstage low, so you purchase the extra type m tweeters with the high pass crossover, and mount these in the stock location. This brings the soundstage back up. So you end up running two sets of tweeters in the front, one that comes with the components that you mount with the mid driver, and then the extra ones up top.
Also, you will probably need to custom make a mounting ring for the mid driver for the door.

Looks bada$$, but where do you put your arm when you are driving? I would crunch that IPOD the first day it was there shifting gears.
Hella props though...

the ipod isn't really that in the way. I was hoping that the shop would sink it in further into the center console, but oh well. it works, and i'm not uncomfortable with it there. that's all that matters....
