Power Usage...do I need another power source??
Alrighty...I just installed my new stereo this weekend and I am concerned about the power that it is using. Everything is fine right now but I just was concerned about later down the road. I will be posting pics of the install soon.
My setup is as follows:
Eclipse AVN-5435
-Ipod adapter
-Sirius adapter
Farenheit 7" monitor
Separate DVD player routed to Farenheit
Phoenix Gold RSD 4 channel amp
Now I have power to all of this stuff and is this too much for a stock battery. I obviously have the amp wired from the battery and i also ran another wire from the battery and made a bus bar for the dvd player, sirius adapter, and ipod adapter. Then the Farenheit monitor is wired off of the front cig liter on the passenger side.
Would an Optima battery be sufficient to handle all the pieces in my system or is my setup currently ok??
Thanks for all your help.

An Optima battery will likely gain you nothing other than a more robust setup for car-off playing time. It will be able to deep cycle much better and live longer doing it.
Start by upgrading your three main wires (gnd, alt, lead) and then play your system to your max comfort level. If you see evidence that you still need more power ... then spend the money
