Default Alarm that can still roll down windows

Is there any alarm system out that retains the stock function of rolling down the windows while holding down the "unlock" button?
It's a great feature during the summer and would love to be able to keep it.

Cliford Matrix or G Series allows you to roll them down with one touch and also roll up automatically when you arm the system. About $450 installed with 2-way remote..

That guy rolls up the windows when you double tap the lock button - but there's nothing that says you can't just wire it to the up wire rather than the down wire.

It also has the optional ability to auto-lock your doors 5 seconds after the car starts up. That's a nice feature too.

Without going the KPTech route...are these the only alarams with the feature, or is it pretty standard with most alarms? How about 2-way pager alarms?

We are lucky in our cars. Most cars you need an extra module to do the windows, but in our vehicles all you have to do is keep a constant ground on the unlock or lock wire and the windows will roll up or down, without the need for an extra module. So the answer is any alarm with extra outputs will be able to do want you want. 99% of the alarms out there have at least one extra ouput.

The KPtech module is designed for use with the OEM alarm, that doesn't have any AUX channels.

Look for an alarm that has multiple AXU channels so you can:

1. Pop the rear hatch
2. Pop the gas door (I think there is a button for this in the Z)
3. Roll windows up
4. Roll windows down

You can combine the window up and dowon on the same AUX channel by using a relay and some creative installing (either trigger the relay by the (-) when armed wire or with the dome light activation wire).

I personally don't like using the (-) when armed wire to drive the windows up automatically as it leaves the user with NO control of the windows (they will always go up when you arm the alarm).

Whatever you do, do NOT buy a dedicated window module as most of them won't work with our car as most of them add a one touch feature that causes the windows to go all the way down each time you open your door.

Good luck!

Oh, and that URL above should be: www.KPtechnologies.COM
