Tape player turning on automatically?

Tape player turning on automatically?
weird... i was dropping my friend off at his house.. and as i parked and let him out.. my emergency signals blinked once and then the tape player started up. I was like ok.. maybe he hit and i didn't see. So i'm on my way home cruising around 35mph.. then it turns on again.. BY ITSELF!!!! anyone else experience this?? freakin me out
