Default There are some out there!

I seen some "Car PCs" but i don't think they really worth it. You can get a old Thinkpad on ebay for a couple of humdres, wire the output to your HU and Run Linux on it (Windows will do fine however you have to deal with the Licenses fees).

There are tones of USB GPS and free software to use with it

This is what i installed on my old Mustang, I will install a PC on my Z as well, but i want to have the Sound System ready first.

Unfortunatly for you, Car PCs are really do it yourself items.

I was in the same boat as you when I started. If you are willing to spend time researching, it is very doable, just be patient.

I had never built a PC before, but with a little time on the net, I bought the components for a mini-itx form factor machine, put it together, and it actually works!

The install in the car is easy enough. There are several pages that have screen installs in the nav cubby, everything else is easy.

For software, go to mp3car.com. Tons of frontend info and freeware/shareware app info. Again, take your time and do your research and you can do it. Patience is key here. If you are hot to have something right away, your probably going to be dissapointed. But if you are willing to build a basic system and then customize and expand it slowly, you are only limited by your own imagination.

Good luck.

Kind of pricey, but you don't have to do anything yourself, minus actually installing it in your car.
