JL 10w7 behind the seat?
Anyone done this? i'm looking to move my entire system out of visual range...
planning on putting the JL 500.1 and 300.4 behind the passenger seat and the 10w7 behind the driver seat -- i know it won't sound as good as a rear-facing sub, but i need something that won't take up all my trunk space (if there is another way, let me know!)
thanks in advance,
-nick

i just put a 10w3v2 back there it sounds like ASSCRACK
so yea theres nazars box behind the seat with a w1 it will sound better then anythign that that metal rattling piece of krap
i wanted to save space and all that but i have a ZR so i have no choice
under the strut seems to be the way for coupes and cheaper too

just so u know, there IS enough air space back there for a 10W7, but like everyone's saying it's gonna sound like crap. Everyone has this misconception that W7s need a walk in closet worth of airspace, but when they're sealed they work in very small enclosures

because firing towards the back of the driver's seat i dont believe it would sound good. Airspace is DEFINITELY there, if you could fab an enclosure to fire it downward it would sound mint i believe. The sub only needs about a cube to a cube and a quarter of space which is DEFINITELY available behind that seat
