I'd like to add just a sub to my stock audio set up and would like to get recomendations from you guys on what stuff to get, preferably something usable w/ upgrades that I plan to do in the future. Thanks for the input.

It would be real helpful to know what are your future plans and how much you plan to spend. I could easy list $1500 for equipment and a sub but if you only want to spend $300 my advice does you no good.

Also what exactly do you want in a sub? Super low hit you in the back of the head like a hammer bass or just something punchy and tight that gives a nice needed structure to lows in songs.
