Help to find a headunit that connects to iPod
I'm completely new with the whole mobile audio/video stuff and I just want to buy a reliable and good headunit that can connect to my iPod and play songs from it. I've heard about alpine making a few but are there any that are really popular out there? please give me any feedback possible. Thanks.

It refers to the size of the entire in-dash component. DIN has become the world standard for car audio component sizing. The most common sizes are DIN (7-3/8"wide by 2-1/4" high), DIN and a half (7-3/8"wide by 3-3/8"high), and double DIN ( 7-3/8"wide by 4-1/2" high).
Most vehicles will accommodate DIN sizing, but even older vehicles or larger-sized openings can be accommodated with the use of model-specific trim kits.
