Default video source suggestions

Going to be installin a dvd source for my avic d-1 this weekend. Need some inputs on dvd players. Any suggestions? Would it be cheaper to just use a ps2 layin around the house? or an xbox? I have both just collectin dust since i dont really play video games anymore.

the PS2 video source can sometime be a little weak and will burn up... I have had better luck out of the X-box in a vehicle... a convertor for the x-box would be cheaper for sure over a DVD source...

I used the PAC-NIS-II for this install so I could hook it up to my bose unit and keep the stock controls.
