just wondering if your doing this for competition or show or both because it seems way overkill otherwise.
i am doing it for both... i am not gonna be one of those guys with it on all the time everywhere i go, but i really want to get into competition while at the same time have something that i can turn all the way down and just sound really nice
I have one 10W7 in a fiberglass vinyled box from Nazar. It is pushed by a JL 500/1 not to mention the 300/4 and Boston Pros all around.
One JL10W7 in the correct airspace will be crisp, deep, and full. That is my favorite part, the fullness of the soud. I had a behind the seat sub before and changed ASAP.
3 10W6s works better than two 10W7s believe it or not.
You've got a lot of good advices, but let me just TELL YOU NOT TO GO WITH 2 500/1s! Coz of all the reasons Nazar has said, plus too much extra wires - I had a similar setup, and dude it sometimes sounded as if i heard two thumbs at different times, , but everytime i got it checked, it would'nt do it again.
You only hear it when you listen to it for a long time, and when your spending that much money! Please do it right!
i have 2 10w7s in a box made by tweeter (i would have had nazar make it but i wasnt in the area anymore). definitely enough base, do a search for my pics.
