Default remote window rolled up?

after owning my 03 touring for a year I just foundout you can open the windows by holding down the unlock button on the alarm pager, which is pretty cool. but is there a way to roll them back up? holding the lock button doesn't work. is there anyone way? also are there any other little features like this I am not aware of?

Before you get out of your car, you press the window buttons up once and they go up :P

But no, I don't think there is a way.

You can do it by turning the key in the door lock and holding it....

I believe it would be a safety issue to be able to do it with the key fob...

Its a liability issue. Too many people would drop class action lawsuits on Nissan the first time some little kid got his arm or head caught cause daddy wasnt watching the car when he "Auto Upped" his windows with little Chester in the car.

Damn you little Chester..

Exactly... which is also the reason why all new cars have specially designed buttons for rolling up the window... you have to actually "lift" it to make the window go up... so when little bobby is climbing out of the window he cant step on the button and accidentally decapitate himself...

^ I wouldn't be surprised if that were true.... but I'm not going to be the one to test that out.

Any takers?

I have one of these units from KP Tech along with the auto door lock module and love them both. I got spoiled by other cars that have doors that lock automatically after you start the car so I really missed that. The window up module is great, especially if you're inside and don't feel like going out at night to roll them up at night; or if you're out somewhere and it starts raining.

Take a rolled up towel and put it in the window as it closes. That won't damage the window or the plastic molding above the door opening but will stop the window and force it to reverse directions.

I have tried to roll up the windows at 150mph or so and the start to go up and then go back down as the wind force gets greater. So I would have to say it is true.

www.KPtechnologies.com (the .net is being phased out and may not work for much longer)

KPtechnologies offers a variety of different modules geared specifically towards Nissans and Infinitis, as well as a few universal items.

Some of the more popular modules are the remote window up module, the VDC 'memory' module, and the stealth shift light.

Do we need one kit for each window or will one kit work for both (I ask because I read that it installs inside the door).

One module per car. The module communicates directly with the BCM to raise the windows, and only one link is needed.
