im guessing hu = head unit?? its just the bose option standard head unit

i saw some website to take out the dash but it was for a 03, i guess they changed teh dash a bit so the screws are different

anyone know where one would be for 06?

um i think you need a line output converter to connect the amp to the hu and wire it into the stock sub wiring, not to sure about the bose though...are you sure the scrwes are diff for the 06?

Default Go To Tweeters

Well if spending the money is not a big deal then I recommend you go talk to the guy's at Tweeters (hifi buys, sound advice, Showcase, Hillcrest these are all tweeter company’s. do not know if they all do car installs). There are some new devices out on the market now to help when you are using a stock head unit to ensure you get the best quality from the head unit. Even though you have a Bose head unit they are designed to cut out base when you turn them up loud (to keep you from blowing your speakers). There is a device made by JL Audio called a Clean Sweep that is designed for factory head units to stop this problem when adding subs. The guy's at tweeters may be a little more expensive then Best Buy but I can stand by there work, they know what they are doing.

Yeah I wouldn't go to Best Buy for anything... It's like on par with Circuit City's stereo/audio shop. Check out the regional forums here and find a reputable shop down there in So Cal.
