Question Best looking cd player?

I love the look of the stock cd player on the inside, but obviously it isn't cutting it.

What is the least invasive looking good cd player I can get? Also, will an amp fit under the seat to power the 2 door and speakers behind you?

What are also the best speakers for the money to add?

I have Infinity Kappa's in my truck and am pretty happy with those.

Thanks!

As for the speakers, i love MB Quart but not alot of people mention them on threads like these. What kind of music do you listen to? Instead of going under the seat, you might want to try mounting the amp in the cubby behind the drivers seat (unless you have the bose setup)

Good looking - I like petite brunettes ... I'm thinking that "good looking" be a personal thing and you'll have to do the leg work here. Have a look over at www.woofersetc.com or www.crutchfield.com for about 100-200 CD headends to choose from.

Also, will an amp fit under the seat to power the 2 door and speakers behind you?
Yes, a small one will but most ones of quality are going to be too big to stuff under there and will require to be mounted behind the seats.

Define best. How much money? What kind of music? Define your listening habbits. You really ought to actually go out and audition various speakers until you find ones that YOU like rather than ones I like. While looking around at head ends gather up some speaker brands the strike your fancy and then have a listen to them.

I have Infinity Kappa's in my truck and am pretty happy with those.
As do I ... there's a good start to compare for your next set of speakers. Make sure you listen to the pairs you're auditioning side-by-side rather than at different stores. Bring your own CD demo disk to listen with.

Thanks!
You're welcome and good luck!

I listen to heavy metal.

Chimaira Dry Kill Logic DevilDriver

and then softer stuff like Korn Stone Sour Slipknot Deftones

I love hearing that double bass!! I dont plan on putting a subwoofer in there. I dont have a bose system. Just the stock 06

Desi ... this is arguably the most invasive CD player I have ever seen. Sorry

If you are looking for clean and uninvasive .. try Nakamichi

Imo Sony WX7700-MDX is by far the best looking aftermarket HU and matches the Z's interior perfectly.
The only problems are that is a mini-disc player (I guess you can add a Sony CD changer) and the radio does not work with all U.S. frequencies.

Here is pic (not mine, from SangWL):

Damn, too bad it is a Sony. I have a Clarion DX-945 with Boston Pros but that looks amazing.
