Double DIN
I would be interested to.
If anyone has a good double DIN unit please post details and a picture if you have one.
I have a Performance model on order, and a stereo upgrade is being planned.

Cool
Ok, that is the COOLEST car radio I have ever seen.
Is that a current production model? How much? Where?
I am not sure it goes with the "ultra futuristic" Z, but the contrast might be fun.

Alpine Feedback
Come to find out, Alpine originally marketed this unit in the U.S... but now it's only offered in Japan. They said it's tough to make a reliable CD Changer in such a small unit.

It looks aluminesque... like much of the 350Z interior. And the amber illumination should match the Z PERFECTLY!
Damn, I want one!!

I have a few very upscale DD HU I'd like to show but I can't seem to get the photos to load. I'll keep trying, but if anyone has a quick answer or something they think I should check, drop me a note. Thanks

Many of us have bought the Sony WX7700 and it is totally cool.
Here is another Sony that has 728 adjustable colors to match your cabin panel and is a couple hundred dollars less. I think it's about $400. It has the slick futuristic lines that match the 350Z.

Some people like this one. It certainly is different. Kind of looks like a ham radio. The nice thing is it plays MP3 files. The screen colors can be changed. I think there are 12 colors. It has a full spectrum equalizer too.

These are all cool double din setups. Here's an idea I had about combining 2, single din units, one on top of another. The only down side I can see is that the lighting is blue instead of amber to match the Z interior. But it's one possibility about what to do with the other single DIN space in the Z, when one of the spaces is filled with a single DIN headunit.
