Does any of you have Farenheit screen for 06 Z? If so, did you use 03 cubby? how is the fitment? thank you

 

Most of the time that people placed a screen like the Farenheit or a Lilliput they opted for the 03 cubby because I believe the fitment was better with the screen and the 03 also has the motorized action .

 

03's are motorized? I had NO idea! That's pretty cool.

 

Oh boy...

The stock non-nav 03 cubby is not motorized and the door comes in a lighter graphite color. It also has a different door mechanism than later models and the storage box can easily be removed to make room for a 7" screen. The shape and size is not the same as the 06 door, but some have put it in there anyway. The pictures I have seen show gaps around the door when closed as well as the inner structure to the center section gaps.

All Nav doors for all years were motorized until it was discontinued some time in 06 when Nissan ditched the door due to warranty claims and went to a small visor over the exposed screen. Information as to if the motorized door was actually produced in 06 has been sketchy but Courtesy Nissan shows one listed on their site.

Also in another screen thread, someone had made a module to control the motor in the door, it is not just a simple hookup.

yes hypersprite is right. they make one for the 06. cause 06 is a different color grey. and there is a gap in the inside. here are some pics of my 06, with the courtesy door.

naw its a 06, trust me. the color match perfect. if you mean the doors look alike but not buy color. yeah they should look alike i think. but its the 06 by courtesy nissan. I should know, I bought it.
