Show Me Your Soundsystem!!!!
Thanks bro.....right now the car slams, everything is up to spec....Bass hits hard!!!
I am still running Bose Mids and Highs, because I am trying to scrape up the funds to get my door panels done.....Looking at having the Bose speakers replaced with CDT's, might go with 2 two ways and coaxles or a 3 way and coaxles, not sure yet.

Ya, I was leaning more towards the 3 way aswell....I don't wanna go too crazy with the door panels...just something that looks clean and sounds sick.....We will see what happens from here to then...
yall do know a couple plywood rings screwed together and screwed in to factory door speaker slots allow you to install almost any aftermarket 6.5 speaker and keep the original look and door panel,, i put in memphis componets M class that way with no problems... ill upload some pics soon , since i finally finished my system. had alot of issues with clarion head unit and memphis sub.. changed those out with a 15 orion xtr pro and an alpine ina-w900bt , so far lovin the results

For all of those with the dual subwoofers in the hatch and a big box, bigger than say a single 10" sub, how much weight are you adding?
I'm currently running a small 10" box for my single sub. I took it out yesterday because the way I have it mounted (driver's side rear corner in the hatch) was creating alot of creaking noises over bumpy roads. I took it out recently to see how I can mount it differently.
This morning I'm driving without my rear sub and man the way the car accelerate, handles, and going over bumpy roads is amazing!!! I dunno, I really beginning to think I can live without a rear sub. Either that or get a JL Audio W7 or another shallow mount sub to keep the weight down.

bro, w7 is no shallow mount sub.... plus save weight and W7 should not be in the same sentence

but i know what you mean abut the acceleration, it feels sluggish as fk with the sub..... but what makes myself feel better is knowing that i never go to the track and havent been to the strip in a LONG TIME
...lol... im not going to lie to myself
at the end its up to you bro, your car

oh almost forgot,

lol
my box alone weights a GRIP!!!! i think when it was shipped to me it weight around 80lbs with all the packaging and crap but regardless that **** is heavy as FUGG

I've been driving around for a day without a sub, and the car feels really good but I'm also missing that deep bass from my music. sigh, decisions. My entire setup is absolutely not as heavy as yours. About 25lbs with tight, deep bass. Maybe a custom box in the OEM sub location?
but then we cant set off alarms and pist ppl off at red lights
Be honest to yourself bro, do you really need a car that "handles" so good, as a DD?
I can see if you do canyon runs, autox, track, or atleast drag once on awhile! But what's the point of having a track ready setup for a DD that never sees the track
Maybe to drift the intersection, or weave threw traffic and put ppls life in danger
Weigh out ur options bro, but don't lie to yourself
yes the weight i have helps nothing , but i bought the car for an SPL DB Drag car that was my intent actually
peace
The back is pretty much the same except for the newer version Boston amplifiers, but I changed the front stage. Got rid of door pods and went with kicks. Also upgraded to the new Kenwood DNX9980HD.
